Today we headed out from Uppsala to do a bit of walking in the Swedish hinterland and fairly randomly plumped for Alvkarleby station where we discovered Laxon Island, used once as for Swedish army training. Lakes, rapids, dams, floodgates, trees and some cool architecture in the landscape.
