This has been my motto since I launched Vintage Operandi in 2021.

My vision was to give a new, modern image to vintage fashion in France. While this market has been booming for several years, in France we’ve long remained conservative, and many people considered vintage fashion to be « old », « dirty » and often presupposing a bargain.

My wish was to dust off this vision, and convince even the most reluctant to buy second-hand.

Because I find, on the contrary, that you can be far more stylish with a rare vintage piece than with the latest it-bag.

And don’t forget that fashion is a perpetual restart: what’s out of fashion today can be the « pepite » of the next decade.
