its fascinating potential, challenges and risks. Our first TEDxCIFE event took place on 7 October 2017 and tackled the theme "Transition" as we believe that the world is in a crucial transition period – the concept of transition covering, for sure, a wide range of areas. We tackled topics such as transition to new economy, transition to different careers, transition to a new food culture etc. CIFE is a private institution of higher education and research, founded in 1954 with its head office in Nice and branch offices in Berlin, Brussels and Istanbul. Every year, students from all continents and a great variety of countries enroll in its programmes, which lead to a degree at Master level (EQF 7) recognised by the French state.
