A small-group French immersion experience 🇫🇷💬

My upcoming A2 French program will start in mid-August 2026.

For two weeks, we will practise French together in a small group, with a full immersive experience designed to help you use French more naturally "dans la vraie vie" (in real life).

This is not about sitting quietly and memorising long grammar lists.

It is about speaking, listening, reacting, asking questions, and building confidence through real-life situations.

In a small group, you will have the chance to:

✨ Practise speaking regularly — "parler français" (to speak French)
✨ Listen to other learners and learn from them
✨ Repeat useful phrases until they feel more natural
✨ Practise everyday situations like "un rendez-vous" (an appointment), "le marché" (the market), or "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy)
✨ Build confidence in a supportive atmosphere
✨ Feel less alone in your French learning journey

The group format is important: it gives you real interaction, encouragement, and a safe space to practise without pressure.

During these two weeks, the goal is to help you feel more comfortable using French in everyday life in France — "petit à petit" (step by step).

If you already know some French but still feel blocked when you need to speak, this program could be a good next step for you.

📅 The program starts in mid-August 2026.
💬 Small group format.
🇫🇷 Two-week immersive French experience.

Would you like to feel more confident in French by the end of summer? 🇫🇷💬

My new A2 French program will start in mid-August 2026.

It is designed for learners who already know some French, but still feel unsure when they need to use it "dans la vraie vie" (in real life).

Maybe you can understand simple sentences, but speaking still feels stressful.
Maybe you know some grammar, but real conversations feel too fast.
Maybe you want to feel more independent when making "un rendez-vous" (an appointment), going to "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy), speaking to "les voisins" (neighbours), or asking questions in "un magasin" (a shop).

This program will help you practise useful French for everyday situations in France, build confidence when speaking, and make progress "petit à petit" (step by step).

The goal is not perfection.
The goal is to help you feel more comfortable, more independent, and more connected in your daily life in France.

If you are interested in joining the program starting in **mid-August 2026**, you can book a short call with me.

During the call, we’ll talk about your current level, your goals, what feels difficult for you right now, and whether the program is the right fit for you.

A new week, a new step in French 🇫🇷💬

A new week is often a good moment to ask yourself:

What would I like to feel more confident doing in French?

Maybe you would like to understand people better when they speak to you.
Maybe you would like to make "un rendez-vous" (an appointment) without feeling nervous.
Maybe you would like to speak more easily at "la boulangerie" (the bakery), "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy), or "le marché" (the market).
Maybe you simply want to feel less blocked when you try to speak "dans la vraie vie" (in real life).

My upcoming A2 French program is designed for learners who already know some French, but want to use it more confidently in everyday situations.

We will work on practical communication, useful vocabulary, simple conversations, listening skills, and confidence — "petit à petit" (step by step).

The goal is not to speak perfect French.

The goal is to help you feel more comfortable, more independent, and more connected in your daily life in France.

If this sounds like what you need, you can book a short call with me so we can talk about your current level, your goals, and whether the program is the right fit for you.

Do you know some French, but still freeze when you have to speak? 🇫🇷💬

Maybe you can introduce yourself, understand simple French, and follow lessons without too much difficulty.

But "dans la vraie vie" (in real life), things feel different.
Someone asks you an unexpected question.
They speak a little too quickly.
They wait for your answer.
And suddenly, the French you know seems to disappear.

You start translating in your head. You worry about making mistakes. You hesitate, overthink, or answer with only a few words — even though you know you are capable of saying more.

If this sounds familiar, it does not mean you are bad at French.
Very often, it simply means you need more guided speaking practice in real-life situations — the kind of practice that helps you react, build sentences more naturally, and feel supported while you speak.

That is exactly what the French Confidence Program is designed for.
This program is here to help you become someone who dares to use French in everyday situations: at "un café" (a café), in "un magasin" (a shop), at "le marché" (the market), during "un rendez-vous" (an appointment), or in simple conversations with people in France.

The goal is not perfect French.
The goal is to help you speak more naturally, find your words more easily, feel less blocked, react with more confidence, and use French in real-life situations this summer.

Why work with me?
My many years of experience as a French Language Coach have shown me that speaking French with confidence is not only about grammar or vocabulary.
My background is in french language training, foreign languages, intercultural communication, and coaching. I studied foreign languages and business, completed a Master’s degree in International Intercultural Relations, and trained in professional coaching skills. I have been working as a French language coach for more than 8 years.
I also love learning languages myself, so I understand what it feels like to search for words, make mistakes, hesitate, and slowly build confidence.
My approach is practical, supportive, and human.
We do not only study French — we practise using it.
In this program, I’ll help you speak more, receive useful corrections, and feel more comfortable using the French you already know in everyday conversations.
If you are interested, I invite you to book a short 15-minute call with me.
During the call, we’ll talk about your current French level, your goals, what feels difficult for you right now, and whether the program is the right fit for you.

Could this A2 French program be right for you? 🇫🇷💬

If you have already studied some French, but still feel nervous when you need to use it "dans la vraie vie" (in real life), you are not alone.

Many learners at A2 level know useful words and basic grammar, but still find it difficult to speak naturally, understand French people, or react quickly in everyday situations.

This program is designed to help you move from “I know a little French” to “I can manage simple situations with more confidence.”

We will focus on practical French for daily life in France, such as:

✨ Talking about yourself and your routine — "la vie quotidienne" (daily life)
✨ Asking questions and understanding simple answers
✨ Making "un rendez-vous" (an appointment)
✨ Going to "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy), "la boulangerie" (the bakery), or "le marché" (the market)
✨ Speaking with "les voisins" (neighbours)
✨ Building confidence when you speak

The goal is not to speak perfectly.
The goal is to feel more comfortable, more independent, and more connected in your life in France — "petit à petit" (step by step).

If you are interested, you can also book a short call so we can talk about your current French level, your goals, and whether this program would be a good fit for you.

A new A2 French program is coming soon 🇫🇷💬

If you already know a little French, but still feel blocked when you have to speak "dans la vraie vie" (in real life), this program may be for you.

I’m preparing a new A2 French program designed to help learners move from basic knowledge to more confident everyday communication.

At A2 level, the goal is not to speak perfectly.

The goal is to feel more comfortable in simple real-life situations, such as:

✨ Introducing yourself and talking about your daily life — "la vie quotidienne" (daily life)
✨ Making "un rendez-vous" (an appointment)
✨ Asking questions in "un magasin" (a shop)
✨ Speaking with "les voisins" (neighbours)
✨ Understanding simple conversations
✨ Talking about your plans, needs, and experiences
✨ Feeling less stressed when someone speaks to you in French

This program will focus on useful French, speaking practice, vocabulary for daily life, and the confidence you need to communicate more naturally "petit à petit" (step by step).

It is especially designed for English-speaking learners who are living in France, planning to move here, or wanting to feel more independent in everyday French situations.

If your goal is to stop feeling stuck at beginner level and start using French more comfortably, you can find all the details here:

French for going to the market 🇫🇷🛒

Going to "le marché" (the market) in France can be a lovely part of daily life.

You can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, bread, flowers, or local products — but it can also feel intimidating if you are not sure what to say in French.

The good news is: you do not need complicated sentences. A few useful phrases can already help you feel more comfortable.

Here are some phrases you can use at "le marché" (the market):

🛒 "Bonjour, je voudrais..."
(Hello, I would like...)

🍓 "Je voudrais des fraises, s’il vous plaît."
(I would like some strawberries, please.)

⚖️ "Je voudrais un kilo de pommes."
(I would like one kilo of apples.)

🥕 "Je voudrais trois carottes."
(I would like three carrots.)

🧀 "Vous me conseillez quoi ?"
(What do you recommend?)

💶 "Ça fait combien ?"
(How much is it?)

🛍️ "Vous avez un sac, s’il vous plaît ?"
(Do you have a bag, please?)

🙏 "Merci beaucoup, bonne journée !"
(Thank you very much, have a good day!)

A short example:

— "Bonjour, je voudrais un kilo de tomates, s’il vous plaît."
(Hello, I would like one kilo of tomatoes, please.)

— "Bien sûr. Et avec ceci ?"
(Of course. Anything else?)

— "Ce sera tout, merci. Ça fait combien ?"
(That’s all, thank you. How much is it?)

Going to the market is a great way to practise useful French in a real situation — "dans la vraie vie" (in real life).

You can start small, repeat the same phrases, and build confidence "petit à petit" (step by step).

Do you enjoy going to "le marché" (the market) in France, or does it still feel stressful in French? 👇

How to ask for opening hours in French 🇫🇷🕒

When you live in France, knowing how to ask about opening hours can be very useful — especially before going to "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy), "la boulangerie" (the bakery), "la mairie" (the town hall), or "un magasin" (a shop).

Opening hours can sometimes change during "les vacances" (the holidays), public holidays, lunch breaks, or summer months.

Here are a few useful phrases:

🕒 "Vous êtes ouvert aujourd’hui ?"
(Are you open today?)

🕒 "À quelle heure vous ouvrez ?"
(What time do you open?)

🕒 "À quelle heure vous fermez ?"
(What time do you close?)

🕒 "Vous fermez entre midi et deux ?"
(Do you close between 12 and 2?)

🕒 "Vous êtes ouvert le samedi ?"
(Are you open on Saturdays?)

🕒 "Vous êtes ouvert pendant les vacances ?"
(Are you open during the holidays?)

🕒 "Quels sont vos horaires ?"
(What are your opening hours?)

A short example:

— "Bonjour, excusez-moi, vous êtes ouvert cet après-midi ?"
(Hello, excuse me, are you open this afternoon?)

— "Oui, nous sommes ouverts jusqu’à 18h."
(Yes, we are open until 6 PM.)

— "Très bien, merci beaucoup. Bonne journée !"
(Very good, thank you very much. Have a good day!)

These small questions can help you avoid stress, save time, and feel more independent "dans la vie quotidienne" (in daily life).

Which place do you find most stressful to contact in French: "la pharmacie" (the pharmacy), "la mairie" (the town hall), "le médecin" (the doctor), or "un magasin" (a shop)? 👇

Summer is coming: useful French phrases 🇫🇷☀️

Summer is almost here — "l’été arrive" (summer is coming) — and daily life in France starts to feel a little different.

People talk about the weather, look for shade, enjoy cafés "en terrasse" (outside on the terrace), spend more time at "le marché" (the market), and start asking about holidays — "les vacances" (holidays).

Here are a few useful French phrases about summer weather and habits:

☀️ "Il fait chaud."
(It’s hot.)

🌡️ "Il fait très chaud aujourd’hui."
(It’s very hot today.)

🌿 "Il fait beau."
(The weather is nice.)

🌳 "Je cherche un endroit à l’ombre."
(I’m looking for a place in the shade.)

💧 "Je voudrais un verre d’eau, s’il vous plaît."
(I would like a glass of water, please.)

☕ "On peut s’asseoir en terrasse ?"
(Can we sit outside on the terrace?)

🛒 "Je vais au marché ce matin."
(I’m going to the market this morning.)

🏖️ "Vous partez en vacances cet été ?"
(Are you going on holiday this summer?)

In France, summer often brings small changes in daily habits: slower afternoons, outdoor conversations, meals outside, busy markets in the morning, and many conversations about "la chaleur" (the heat), "le soleil" (the sun), and "les vacances" (holidays).

These little phrases can help you take part in simple conversations and feel more comfortable in everyday life — "dans la vie quotidienne" (in daily life).

You do not need perfect French to enjoy summer in France.
A few useful sentences, repeated often, can make a real difference — "petit à petit" (step by step).

Which summer phrase would be the most useful for you? 👇
