The fire staircase that allows Kate Walker to secretly access the upper floors of the Roze family’s magnificent house lets us travel back in time and uncover well-kept secrets about young Dana’s life.

The staircase features intricate floral ironwork and a glass roof at the top, allowing light to filter through the windows and prevent the interiors from becoming too dark. There’s also considerable detail in the mechanisms, including a puzzle element that allows you to interact with Oscar’s automaton.⚙️🦔

The idea came to me quite naturally when, one evening, I stumbled upon an absolutely fantastic exterior staircase, which will have slightly influenced the appearance of the Rozes.

It’s the one at the Palais Royal theater in Paris; I invite you to take a look, it’s truly charming ✨

For this post, I chose to keep the original French dubbed version, featuring the magnificent voice of .francoise , one of the greatest voices in French video games and a leading figure in the ,which raises awareness about the misuse of generative AI in creative fields.
