Metz Cricket Club

Stars welcomed friends from Metz CC on Sunday 2nd of December for a couple of Indoor games at Campus An Der Dällt sports Hall at Schuttrange.

It was very early start for Metz to drive down to Luxembourg on a freezing February morning for a 9am start and adapting to Indoor Cricket is always a challenge.
Though, batting first Metz posted competitive 130 a.o. in 19.3 overs. Stars were taken back from good bowling from Metz CC and fell short of 39 runs. Important is that it was a well managed ex*****on from Stars standing captain to provide game time to all participants.

After short drinks break, a T10 game took place. Batting first Stars posted 89 of their 10 overs. Good bowling from Stars restricted Metz CC to score of of 60 and Stars winning the game by 29 runs.

A sumptuous Lunch was catered from Kohinoor Luxembourg which allowed our friends from Metz to return back fulfilled with results and tasty curry.
