Retour sur le processus de conception l Planche Musée des Confluences et Biodiversité, A3 encre de Chine et crayon de couleurs. Credits Estelle Cruz 2025.

La planche planche reprend des éléments d’architecture caractéristiques du Musée des Confluences designé par l’agence d’architecture autrichienne Coop Himmelb(l)au et les espèces identifiées autour du batiment dessinées grâce à l’application I-Naturaliste. Plus de 15 espèces animales et végétales sont représentées sur la planche.

La première étape consiste à installer une composition grâce à un rapide crayonné. Celui-ci permet d’installer dans les grandes lignes les masses et mouvements de la planche. A l’image d’un travail de recherche, le crayonné correspond aux hypothèses de recherche.

La planche émerge ensuite par une alternance de dessins d’espèces d’après photos grâce à l’application i-Naturaliste au crayon de couleurs puis d’encrage des éléments d’architecture.

Ce processus laisse une part importante à l’imprévu et à l’ajustement de la composition au fil de la réalisation de l’oeuvre. Il demande un important laché prise et recul lors de la réalisation du dessin où l’oeuvre émerge par elle-même en échappant aux idées initiales. Ces réflexions artistiques s’inscrivent dans la lignée des recherches artistiques à l’Atelier d’Action Artistique - AAA animés par Didier Jas.
