✏️ ZERO CONDITIONAL ✏️

A conditional shows the result of a condition.

In a conditional sentence, we have a condition clause, and we have a main clause.

FORM:
"IF + present simple" (for the condition clause), "present" (for the main clause).

USE:
We use the zero conditional for:
▪️ scientific facts
▪️ general truths
▪️ instructions

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
▪️ We can change the order of the condition clause and main clause, and it doesn't change the meaning.
▪️We can use "when" instead of "if" for the zero conditional, and it doesn't change the meaning.

Practice the zero conditional by answering the questions on the last page.

Have a good week.

PHRASAL VERBS WITH GIVE

I have been a bit quiet on Instagram lately because we have been on summer vacation, but now that it is over, I hope to be more active on here.

Today's lesson is looking at phrasal verbs with the verb GIVE.

A phrasal verb is when you join two or more words together (normally it's a verb and preposition) to create a new meaning which is differentto the meaning of the verb alone.

Don't forget to do the quiz on the last page 😊

Have a great week everyone!
