Your muscles become more relaxed . Your breathing becomes slower and deeper. And your heart rate variability goes up .

When you have a sad thought , a hopeless thought , a helpless thought , a stressful thought , your body immediately produces chemicals that make your hand colder and wetter, muscles more tensed , breathing shallower and more erratic . Your heart rate variability goes down . It happens immediately every time you have a thought .

Reminding myself it is important to take a break from work when feeling overwhelmed. Even if I m a therapist , i’ m still human ! I have ups & downs . I am extremely tired after the loss of my dad last month so I took a break yesterday and visited for the first time the @dubaietihadmuseum with the @fscdubaiaccueil . I absolutely loved it . I am so impressed with what this country has become. I love @lovindubai . I can feel the energy of this city . It feeds me . It inspires me .
