🇺🇸 at Cannes festival, with the team of the movie « retour à Séoul » (return to Seoul)
Davy Chou, friend and director, chose the story of the reunion with my biological korean family as the topic of his last feature film
last sunday, we watched the premiere at salle Debussy of the festival palace with the jury of « un certain regard » and 1000 other people

thank you everyone involved in the making of this movie, for contributing and passing on the testimony of one (and many other) adoptee(s)
thank you Jimin, for putting all your heart and mind into the lead role you played of a modern, free-spirited and inspiring woman
thank you Davy for all the your faith and courage you had to make this movie happen and for our wonderful friendship
thanks for helping me to make sense of my pain, accept my past and see myself and others through the eyes of compassion

Davy Chou, ami et réalisateur, a choisi l’histoire de mes retrouvailles avec ma famille biologique coréenne comme sujet de son dernier long métrage
dimanche dernier, nous avons assisté à la première dans la salle Debussy du palais du festival au côté du jury de la sélection un certain regard et 1000 autres spectateurs
