Les Couteliers Basques perpétuent un savoir-faire familial initié en 1987 par Pascal Exposito, héritier d’une tradition coutelière à Thiers. Leur démarche première : façonner des lames porteuses de l’âme du Pays Basque, de son terroir, de sa culture. Le « Mizpira », premier couteau basque en bois de néflier créé, arbore une croix basque sculptée. Aujourd’hui, cinq couteliers incarnent diverses expressions de leur art, offrant une gamme où tradition et singularité se rencontrent.

Their primary approach: to fashion blades that carry the soul of the Basque Country, its terroir, its culture. The « Mizpira », the first Basque knife made of medlar wood, features a sculpted Basque cross. Today, five cutlers embody various expressions of their art, offering a range where tradition and singularity meet.
