FSM Adaptation Fund Project

The people of Lekinioch Island, Chuuk State, were pleased to receive their completed Water Management Plan from the Project Management Unit. The plan was developed based on community members’ inputs and feedbacks. The plan has already become a local ordinance which stated roles of an established water committee and ways the local government can support sustainability and maintenance of all water infrastructures on the island to enhance their resilience to the impact of severe drought and other climate change impacts.
