Our Board Chair made a formal submission to the Fiji Law Reform Commission on the review of three key legislations:

📌 Information Act 2018 – Strengthening access to information for all citizens.
📌 Transparency & Accountability Commission Bill – Ensuring independent oversight and good governance.
📌 Code of Conduct Bill – Promoting ethical leadership and public accountability.

At Integrity Fiji, we believe that robust laws are essential in the fight against corruption and for building a more transparent and accountable Fiji.

How will Fiji fare in the Corruption Perceptions Index 2023 (to be released on Jan 30, 2024)? Important that implements recommendations of Conference of States Parties to United Nations Convention against Corruption. These include:
• Taking steps towards adoption & implementation of Code of Conduct Bill, including measures on disclosure of conflicts of interest, assets & liabilities, & establishment of Accountability &Transparency Commission
broadening coverage of Open Merit-Based Recruitment & Selection Guideline beyond civil servants to all public officials
