The Lelean Memorial School Old Scholars Association (FNU LOSA)held its first meeting for the year at the Fiji National University Nasinu Campus.We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and supported our first meeting. Your time, commitment, and presence show the true spirit of being a Lelean Old Scholar.

We warmly welcome all our Year 1 students. This is the beginning of a new academic year a new chapter filled with opportunities to grow, learn, and achieve. We hope everyone is settling in well and staying focused on your goals. Remember, education is not just about passing exams, but about building character, leadership, and a strong future.

During the meeting, a new committee was selected for FNU LOSA 2026. However, the association has re-elected the 2025 President to continue serving as President for 2026. The Vice President for 2026 will be Caleb Aleuta. The Secretary will be Alumeci, with Senileba Toga serving as Assistant Secretary. The Treasurer will be Seruwaia Bonaveidogo, with Eroni Ratabacaca as Assistant Treasurer.

These are the committee members for FNU LOSA 2026, and we look forward to working together to make this association strong and sustainable for the long term. Let us support one another, communicate openly, and serve with unity and respect. When we work together as one team, we can build an association that will continue to grow and benefit future students for many years to come.

As we begin this new year of learning, let us stay motivated, disciplined, and committed to excellence. Encourage one another, lift each other up, and always remember that success is built through teamwork and perseverance.

Our next meeting will be held on the 13th of March at Derrick (venue).

🔥 To My LOSA Family With Heart & Fire 🔥

To each and every one of you who stood up, showed up, and gave your all during the FNU Open Day I see you, I honour you, and I appreciate you more than words can express.

Let’s be honest we didn’t have much. We weren’t working with big budgets or fancy setups. But what we did have was heart, hustle, and faith. And sometimes, that’s all you need.

When others might’ve said, “we don’t have enough,” LOSA said, “we’ll make it work.”
When things looked tight, y’all got tighter.

When the pressure was on, you didn’t fold you FED🫡You worked together, cooked together, served together and made sure no student left hungry. That’s not just service that’s LOSA spirit in action That’s love. That’s leadership. That’s legacy.

And above all, we thank the Lord Almighty. Because even when we didn’t have much, He provided. He made a way. Every plate served, every smile shared that was His goodness showing through us.

As the President of FNU LOSA, I don’t take any of you for granted. Whether you were behind the scenes, on the frontline, or holding us in prayer you made it happen. You are the reason LOSA is more than a group we’re a movement.

So yes we might not have had much, but we had each other. And with God on our side? That’s more than enough.
