Timoci Gacece Naco was born on 4 January 1939 and peacefully passed on to glory on 16 May 2026.

He belonged to the Tokatoka Natokalau, Yavusa Nababa, from the village of Rokovuaka, Tikina Nalawa, Yasana Ra. His traditional i Cavuti is Nacobicibici vua na Turaga na Tui Nalawa.

Born to the late Ratu Akuila Naco of Rokovuaka, Nalawa, Ra and the late Vasiti Naula, whose maternal links trace to Nakasaleka, Kadavu and Naqelecibi, Saivou, Ra, with family roots connected to the Schmidt family, later known as the Smith family.

Timoci Naco was widely known as a businessman involved in land development and real estate throughout Fiji. He was also actively involved in politics and was respected for his leadership, vision and dedication towards community and national development.

He was married to the late Mereani Nawaco Naco of Nagigi, Savusavu, from the Yavusa Dewala, Mataqali Korolevu, who peacefully passed away on 30 December 2010.
