WeHost is, an all-inclusive short-term rental management service company, currently operating in Helsinki, Vantaa, and Espoo. We are growing and thus expanding to Tampere. Our service gives guests all over the world an opportunity to enjoy an authentic and comfortable Scandinavian experience. Our service is built with the collaboration of 200+ online travel agencies such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, HomeAway.

As Head of Operations Tampere, you will act as the local CEO working closely with the main office in Helsinki. Your responsibilities include managing the overall operations and resources of the company and serving as the main point of communication and management.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠:

Evaluating the existing structure and sitting with the rest of the executive team to devise strategy across the company but primarily focusing on the Tampere region.
Working alongside the Helsinki management team to ensure stakeholders' targets are met but given autonomy to make decisions for the business.
Directing the growth of the business and ensuring the company efficiently deals with the significant increase that they have planned.

The business is still young, so tasks will vary as the company grows. You must have a driven and result-oriented personality, always looking for ways to improve the business and yourself.

Our new Head of Operations, Tampere, will be an inspiring and entrepreneurial leader who can harness our momentum to accelerate our growth. We are looking for a skilled influencer who is adept at building partnerships and creating opportunities.

The candidate should be open-minded, stress-tolerant, and a fast learner who works efficiently even in unexpected situations. We expect suitable third-level education, necessary IT- capabilities, and the ability to work with flexible schedules. Team leader skills are a must as well as fluency in both Finnish and English.

Your task as part of our journey is to illustrate WeHost’s core values and strive to achieve our mission. A Housekeeper guarantees that WeHost apartment has a welcoming environment; each person is greeted at the entrance, and that security protocols have adhered too. Answer “walk-up” neighbors and guest questions or refer the inquirer to additional resources.

The job is to ensure that the cleaning and maintaining private apartments meet any housekeeping sanitation requirements and provide a comfortable space for guests.
You will actively take on the effort to strive towards more environmentally sustainable habits. Save energy and water. Improve indoor air quality. Further recycling efforts. Increase occupant living conditions. Use environmentally-friendly products.

𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐲:

-Providing a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst our members through the gatherings and building relationships between members
-Ensuring that WeHost guests have the unrivaled guest experiences
-Taking direction from the Housekeeping Lead, and Customer Success Lead to support the team as necessary

You will ensure all contract deliverables with third-party service providers are met, including operational uptime, cost savings plans, energy reduction programs, service improvements, and the introduction of best practices and innovations.

Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
Making beds and changing linens
Vacuuming and cleaning mopping floors
Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained
Making sure that smart home solutions and electricity are functioning
Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Completing inventory checks in apartments
