MEGA THERION

We bid a heart-felt farewell to Tuukka Virtaperko, Mega Therion house artist who passed away last week.
Sometimes wearing a gas-mask while he painted or drew, Tuukka's presence as he live-painted/illustrated at our club-nights was as enigmatic as it was inspirational, often met with the incredulous stares of new-comers. He always had a unique perspective on the nights we held, from his easel or drawing table and always had something surreal or funny to discuss. He was an irreplaceable element that made Mega Therion what it was in the brief time we shared. Rest in peace Tuukka.

The spirit of Mega Therion is still alive:

Couple of cool Club Mega Therion collaboration gigs coming up! First on February 12th Norway's Obliteration and Nekromantheon will destroy in PRKL, and then later in February, Muissa Maailmoissa Festival goes to the dark side with Bölzer, Krypts and Black Sunroof at Korjaamo. Spread the word!
