Baltic Circle

What could meaningful artistic collaboration look like in a time of uncertainty and change? This question emerged in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and brought three of the most important Finnish theatre festivals together.

The result was Kulkue, a three-year labour of love where ANTI - Contemporary Art Festival, Baltic Circle, and Hangö Teaterträff joined forces to produce an exceptionally large series of co-productions that reached new audiences. The project was born out of the need to create a joint think tank and to share experiences and observations from the art field.
