Gallo-Roman immersion at Malagne, Archéoparc in Rochefort

Come live a unique volunteering experience at the archeoparc "Malagne" in Belgium !

Open since 1996, the Archeoparc showcases a Gallo-Roman villa, built nearly 2000 years ago ! Malagne will share its knowledge about the historical aspect of this gallo-roman site with the volunteers at the same time as preparing the festival 😊

With all the other volunteers, you will sleep in tents in the garden of the archeological center. During free time, you can all do nearby activities together like walks in the forest, visits of caves and castles, kayaking, animal reserve, Chevetogne Provincial Domaine… 🌱🤸‍♀️

🏡🏫 What if the city became a classroom?

In an urbanised and further urbanising world, the city will further become the only environment many people on our planet know well. Luckily, a lot of ecology can be understood and experienced within the urban space.

Vienna Urban Ecology Safari is a 6-day immersive course in Vienna that explores the city as a living ecosystem. Through walking, observation, collective mapping, dialogue, imagination, and non-formal education methods, participants will investigate the relationships between ecology, society, and space, engaging with themes such as biodiversity, climate adaptation, public space, environmental justice, and the coexistence of human and more-than-human life.

📍 Where? Vienna, Austria

VUES is an Erasmus+ seminar opened to youth workers, tourist and educational guides, educators and artists.
Selection will be done on a rolling basis and will be based on motivation and professional experience. Applications from people working or living in disadvantaged urban areas or socio-economic-cultural backgrounds are encouraged.
