In Finland, Midsummer takes place during the second last weekend of June and is a public holiday, which means we get to enjoy a three-day-weekend! 😊

Celebrations of the summer solstice are usually spent with friends and family away from the city. For many, it is also the beginning of their summer holidays. ✈️

We wish a lovely, sunny, long weekend to everyone in the Nordics!

There is a new study in press! Congratulations to Yurii Chepurnyi and his team at the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine!

The results of the study "Clinical application of automated virtual orbital reconstruction for orbital fracture
management with patient-specific implants: a prospective comparative study" show that automatic orbital segmentation allows users to perform virtual orbital reconstruction more easily and 70% faster than seen in traditional approaches and demonstrate that PSI, based on automated virtual reconstruction, can be
recommended as a treatment option for orbital fractures, due to the comparable clinical efficacy
with PSI based on a ‘slice-by-slice’ CAD protocol.
