Last week we hosted a lunch event together with Deel in Restaurant Shelter, Helsinki 🥗🥂

“Lunch with wine & networking” brought together around 30 HR and Talent Acquisition leaders from growing SaaS and tech companies, many of them in the middle of scaling and internationalising their teams.

This was a good one, thank you to everyone who participated!

The room was full of great conversations from the very beginning.

We structured the lunch around roundtable discussions on topics like:

💬 talent vs. company expectations
💬 role expansion in the age of AI
💬 transparency (salaries and beyond)
💬 international hiring
💬 AI in recruitment
💬 HR as a business growth partner

Small groups with people in similar situations & open discussions, simple as that!

We wrapped up with a short interview with Tiina Hahtovirta (HR Director, MTV), hosted by our CEO Siiri, diving into Tiina’s journey from HR leadership to board roles and Interim CEO, and what it really means for HR to act as a business growth partner.

👉 One theme clearly stood out across the table discussions and the interview: HR is moving from a support function to a strategic growth partner.

Four bees ”left” in the hive! 🤪 After all the changes our team has faced recently, we had our first Hive’s Monthly meeting today. 🐝

We’re feeling gooood! 💛

Here are some things we talked about:

🐝 Our vision for 2027. We had an exercise where everyone wrote about what kind of vision we should have for TalentBee’s journey from here on. We had surprisingly similar dreams! We’ll soon share more!

🐝 We’re stoked about being able to live our work life this way: work with amazing customers, change the talent acquisition industry, grow a profitable business, work where we want and have the 4-day work week!

🐝 Salaries! There will be some changes in our salary model in the beginning of next year. We believe our new salary model will be the best in this industry. Naturally, we will share it openly soon.

🐝 Our new sales model works nicely! We don’t have a full-time sales person in the team anymore, but in November, we’ve already had great results. For example: 33 people contacted and 13 meetings booked with ICP customers in only 2 weeks. We have a good feeling about this! We got this!

🐝 This team is gold.
