Gaoliang Lin is an associate consultant at SprintlyWorks. He’s pursuing his master studies in International Management from CEMS. Lin has been working on two projects at SprintlyWorks & here’s what he has to say about his experience:

“My journey with SprintlyWorks started with one sharing experience from my friend who had worked here. It highly aroused my interest towards SprintlyWorks that exclusively designs for master’s students worldwide. I firmly believed working with SprintlyWorks can help me to grow ambitiously as a professional consultant, where I am able to apply and polish my desktop research and analyzing skills that are of great importance for consultants.

Currently, I am closely working with two clients and taking charge of one of them. Compared with my other professional experiences, working with SprintlyWorks gives me more freedom and autonomy, which I value the most.

A typical day of mine starts at 8 AM, which is normal for consultants, with communication with my supervisor and teammates about the project progress and discussing which direction we should go for next. After several hours of working on assigned tasks, I have internal meetings with my teammates. Receiving feedback or answers from them, I continue working until the end of the day. One thing needs to be mentioned is that there are some meetings either with experts or with clients instantly scheduled, and therefore, always be prepared to ‘disruption’ from these two sides 🙂

During my leisure time, I spend hours in the gym to keep myself fit and energetic for everyday work. Relaxing music, such as Jazz or Bossa Nova, cannot be forgotten for every night that needs to work.”

Meet Oorja - an associate consultant at SprintlyWorks!

Oorja Agrawal, an alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Bodhgaya joined as a project associate at SprintlyWorks last year.

She has worked on 12+ projects in the last 10 months spearheading 80% of the projects where she worked with teams across 5+ countries.

Here’s how Oorja connects her interests with management consulting:
“I’ve always been interested in storytelling, problem solving and research. Consulting is that one field which provides you a right blend of all three.

At SprintlyWorks, you get to work on different business challenges right from day one, packaged with working together with clients. The work is exhilarating and never mundane.

The usual day starts with reading a book and meditation, followed by a SprintlyWorks book club meet. Then I prepare for the day and to-do list and get going. The work can be hectic sometimes jumping between the topics but a sweet coffee always helps!

Working in cross national teams helped in building new perspectives as well as learning new things about different cultures."
