MAJOR AREAS OF INTERVENTION
Education: So far, TDA has constructed 712 primary & secondary schools; 6 science and technology centers including the 21 centers underway; provided grant to 750 primary schools to implement school improvement plans; rehabilitated 16 war-affected primary schools; conducted school feeding programs that benefited more than 32,000 children in 80 drought-affected schools.

እቲ መደብ ኦሬንቴሽንን ዘተን ካብ ምልመላ ተጠቀምቲ ጀሚሩ ክሳብ ሓፂር እዋን ስልጠና ቴክኒክን ሞያን ትምህርትን ንምሃብ ኣብ ዝግበር ምንቅስቃስ መሪሕ ተራ ዝፃወቱ ብፕሮጀከት ተፃዋራይነት ነዊሕ ዓመታት 2 ካብ ዝተሓቆፋ ኣብያተ ትምህርቲ ወረዳታት ኢሮብ፣ ዓድዋ፣ ታ/ማይጨው ፣ ጭላ፣ ሽረ እንዳስላስን ታ/ ቆራሮን ዝተውፃእፅኡ ሓለፍቲ ኣብያተ ፅሕፈት ትምህርቲ፣ ርእሳነ መምህራን፣ ወመተሕ፣ ጣብያ ዘፈር ተጠቃምነት ህፃናትን መናእሰይን ደቂ ኣንስትዮን፣ ኣመሓደርቲ ጣብያ፤ ሓለፍቲ ማሕበራዊ ጉዳይ ጣብያ፣ ወረዳን ዞባን ካብ መንግስታዊ ማእኸላት መሰልጠኒ ቴክኒክን ሞያን ትምህርትን ስልጠናን ብሓፈሻ 260 ተሳተፍቲ ኮይኖም።

እቲ ፕሮጀክት ካብ ተመዛበልቲ ፣ ተቃላዕቲ ፣ ጉድኣት ኣካል፣ ብምኽንያት ፀገም ትምህርቲ ናይ ምቁራፅ ሓደጋ ዘለዎም፣ ብህፃናት ዝምርሑ ስድራ፣ ካብ ስድርኦም ዝተፈለዩን ኣላይ ዘይብሎምን ከምኡ'ውን ካብ ትሕቲ ዕድመ መርዓ ዝተረፉ ዕድሚኦም ካብ 15 ክሳብ 18 ዓመት ዝኾኑ ህፃናት ንወለዶም ወይ ሓብሓቢኦም ኣብ ስራሕቲ ሓፃነ መፂንን ዕንፀይትን፣ ፀባን ውፅኢት ፀባን፣ ዓውዲ ሕርሻ፣ ምድላው መግቢ፣ ስፌት ዓለባ፣ ተኸላ ኤሌክትሪክን ካልኦትን ብመልክዕ ቴክኒክን ሞያን ብምስልጣን ናብ መኣዲ ትምህርቲ ንምምላስ ዝዓለመ መደብ ኦሬንቴሽን ወሲዶም። ካብ ጣብያ ክሳብ ቁሸት ተጠቀምቲ ብቅደም ስዓብ ፀገምም ብምምልማል ተረባሕቲ ዝኾንሉ ዕድል ንምፍጣር ከምዝሰርሑ እቶም ተሳተፍቲ ገሊፆም።

ኣብቲ መድረኽ ዝተረኸቡ መተሓባርቲ ፕሮጀክት ተፀዋራይነት ነዊሕ ዓመታት 2ን ኣማኸርቲ ማሕበራዊ ጉዳይ ዞባን ብግዲኦም ፤ ብትምህርቲ ኣቢሉ ምዕባለ ክእለትን ንምምፃእ፣ ደገፍ ምምሕያሽ መነባብሮ ብምሃብ ብብርኪ ስድራ ዓርሰ ምርኮሳ ንምርግጋፅን በዚ ኣቢሉ ካብ መኣዲ ትምህርቲ ወፃኢ ንዝኾኑ ህፃናት ናብ መኣዲ ትምህርቲ ንምምላስ ስልጠና ቴክኒክን ሞያን ከምዝውሃብን በዚ ኣቢልካ ብቀፃልነት ኣብ መነባብሮኦምን ሂወቶምን ስግግር ንምፃእ ዝዓለሙ ስራሕቲ ከምዝስራሕ ብምግላፅ ተሳተፍቲ እቲ መደብ ኦራንቴሽንን ዘተን ናብ ህዝቢ ብምውራድ ልዑል ቱኹረት ሂቦም ክሰርሑ ይግባእ ኢሎም።

ኣብቲ ዝውሃብ ስልጠና ቴክኒክን ሞያን ትምህርትን ስልጠናን ካብ 180 ተጠቀምቲ እተን 60 ሚኢታዊ ደቂ ኣንስትዮን 10 ሚኢታዊ ድማ ጉዱኣት ኣካል ከምዝኾኑ ኣብቲ መድረኽ ተገሊፁ።

This session is designed to successfully implement an upcoming program aimed transition att livelihood via at providing technical and vocational training. The program targets 180 children aged 15 to 18 who are currently out of school and children at risk of drop out due to various hardships, by providing vocational training in various sectors to their parents or caregivers the initiative aims to build family capacity and create sustainable opportunities.

The orientation and discussion session brought together a total of 260 participants included: leaders and education office officials Representatives from Parent-Teacher-Student Associations (PTSA), Tabia focused on children, youth, and women's affairs, Tabia administrators and social affairs heads from the local, wereda, and zonal levels, trainers and representatives from government Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centers.

These stakeholders are from the Multi-Year Resilience Program (MYRP-II) beneficiary schools across six weredas, such as Erob, Adwa, Tahtay Maychew, Chila, Shire Endaselasie, and Tahtay Koraro. They will play a leading role in the entire process, from recruiting beneficiaries to facilitating the shortterm technical and vocational training.

The project focuses on children aged 15 to 18 and their families who belong to highly vulnerable categories, including Internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable groups, Persons with disabilities, those at risk of dropping out of school due to economic hardships, Child headed households, unaccompanied minors, and orphans, Survivors of child marriage.

The orientation session highlighted that parents or guardians of these children will receive technical and vocational training in fields such as metalwork and woodwork, milk and dairy production, agriculture, food preparation, tailoring, electrical installation, and other trades.
The ultimate goal of economically empowering the parents is to enable these out of school children to return to their education. Participants expressed their commitment to transparently selecting and recruiting the most vulnerable beneficiaries from the Tabia down to the village level.

Coordinators of the Multi-Year Resilience Program 2 and Zonal Social Affairs advisors emphasized that the project aims to foster skill development through education and offer livelihood support to ensure family self-reliance. By doing so, it creates a sustainable transition in their lives and allows out of school children to reintegrate into the school system. They urged all orientation participants to roll out the initiative to the community and work with high focus and dedication.

It was disclosed during the session that out of the 180 targeted beneficiaries for this technical and vocational training, 60% will be women and 10% will be persons with disabilities.
