Tokuma Coffee Farmers is a collective of licensed smallholder producers in Ethiopia who proudly remain the true owners and official exporters of their coffee. Everything we do is guided by one core belief: farmers deserve to lead their own success.

We don’t work as buyers, we work as a transparent service partner with zero access to farmer proceeds, so there is never any question about how much farmers are paid. Our role is to open doors and build pathways to the global specialty market. Through hands on agronomy training, rigorous quality management, and direct support in marketing and buyer engagement, we help farmers present their coffee with confidence and clarity. We also manage milling, packaging, logistics, and export documentation through a clear, fee based structure designed to keep every step open and accountable.

This model keeps control where it belongs, with the farmer. Farmers set their own prices, build lasting relationships with buyers, and shape their long term livelihoods with independence and pride.

The result is more than a traceable supply chain. It’s a shared system of trust and growth, where every harvest strengthens not only the quality of the coffee in the cup, but the resilience of families and the future of their communities.

Ensuring quality starts at the source. At Addis Exporter’s ATOMA Station, every lot sample is carefully packed in Ecotact hermetic sampler bags before heading to our quality department. These bags protect each sample from moisture, contamination, and flavor loss — guaranteeing that what arrives in our QC lab is exactly what left the station. Consistency, transparency, and quality… sealed in every bag.

It was a true honor to welcome Mr. Nazimu Husen, former head of Gomma Woreda, former mayor of Agaro, and a proud smallholder farmer to our office.

Mr. Nazimu has played a vital role in helping countless farmers obtain their export licenses, creating new opportunities and paving the way for greater independence.

Our discussion was a powerful reminder of what farmer empowerment really means, not only improving individual livelihoods, but also strengthening entire communities and contributing to the nation’s progress.
