Introduction to Harar Coffee

Harar coffee, a jewel of Ethiopia’s ancient coffee heritage, is celebrated as one of the oldest and most distinctive coffees in the world. Grown in the rugged highlands of eastern Ethiopia near the historic walled city of Harar—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—this coffee is deeply intertwined with the region’s cultural and spiritual identity.
