🚦 Transforming Dangerous Streets into Safe, Walkable Spaces Together!

I can't imagine where we'd be without the and the Star Rating Mobility Snapshot. These powerful resources have been game-changers in turning deadly intersections into some of the safest streets in Addis Ababa.

Just look at the Megnagna intersection once one of the busiest and most dangerous crossings in the city, now on its way to becoming a model of safety. Thanks to data-driven advocacy and Save the Nation -Road Safety Program collaboration with decision-makers, we’ve already seen the Addis Ababa Traffic Management Authority take action. And soon, even more life-saving measures will be in place!

At the 8th UN Global Road Safety Week, we proved how evidence + advocacy = real change. When we combine the Mobility Snapshot and Star Rating Mobility Snapshot, we don’t just talk about safer streets we make them happen.

This is the power of collective action. Let’s keep pushing for streets that protect people, not endanger them.
