ይድረስ ለተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት (United Nations)

እኛ የሰውነት ክብርን እና የሰብአዊ መብትን እንደ መሰረታዊ እሴት የምናክብር ሰዎች ሆነን፣ ዛሬ በልብ የሚያቃጥል ጥሪ ለመምጣት ተገደድን።

በደቡብ አፍሪካ ኑሮን ለማሸነፍ በተሰደዱ ንጹሃን ዜጎች ላይ እየተፈጸመ ያለው ግድያ፣ ዝርፍያ እና ግፍ ከሰውነት ወጥቶ የሚያስፈራ ደረጃ ደርሶአል። ሕይወታቸውን ለማዳን ኑሮን ለማሸነፍየተሰደዱ ሰዎች ዛሬ በፍርሃት ውስጥ እየኖሩ ናቸው፤ ቤታቸው ተቃጥሎ፣ ንብረታቸው ተዘርፎ፣ ሕይወታቸው በአደጋ ውስጥ ተጥሏል።

ይህ የሚፈጸመው ግፍ ፤ ሰው በሰው ላይ የሚያደርሰው እንደዚህ ያለ አሰቃቂ አደጋ በ21ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን መኖሩ የማይታገስ ነው። የተገደሉ ሰዎች ወንድሞቻችን ናቸው፣ እህቶቻችን ናቸው፣ ሕፃናት ናቸው እነሱ ቁጥር አይደሉም፤ ሕይወት ናቸው።

ስለዚህ፣ የተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት፣ እንዲህ ያለ ግፍ እንዲቆም በፍጥነት እና በግልጽ እርምጃ እንዲወስዱ እንጠይቃለን። የንጹሃን ደህንነት እንዲጠበቅ፣ የሰብአዊ መብት እንዲከበር፣ የፍትሕ ስርዓት እንዲሰራ ግዴታ አለብዎት።

ዝምታ በዚህ ጉዳይ ላይ ከግፍ ጋር መተባበር ነው። ዛሬ የሚያስፈልገው እርምጃ ነው።

የንጹሃን ደም እየፈሰሰ ነው፤ ዓለም ግን ዝም ብሎ ሊያይ አይገባም። እባክዎት ይህን ግፍ አቁሙ፤ ሰውነትን አድኑ፤ ፍትሕን አስመልሱ።

We, as individuals who deeply value human dignity and fundamental human rights, are compelled to raise an urgent and heartfelt appeal.

The violence currently being inflicted upon innocent migrants in has reached an alarming and inhumane level. Killings, looting, and acts of brutality have created an environment of fear and devastation. People who fled in search of safety and a better life are now living in terror—their homes burned, their property destroyed, and their lives placed at grave risk.

Such atrocities—humans inflicting this level of suffering upon others—are unacceptable in the 21st century. Those who have lost their lives are not statistics; they are our brothers, our sisters, and our children. They are human beings whose lives mattered.

Therefore, we urgently call upon the United Nations to take immediate and decisive action to stop these violations. It is your responsibility to ensure the protection of innocent lives, uphold human rights, and support the rule of law.

Silence in the face of such injustice is complicity. What is needed now is action.
