ትግስት ንጉሴ ራሷን ያስተማረች ግራፊክስ ዲዛይነር እና ሰአሊ ስትሆን በዚህ ዘርፍ የዳበረ ልምድ አላት። በ ኤሌክትሪካል ኢንጅነሪንግ ከተመረቀች በኋላ ግራፊክስ ዲዛይነር የመሆን የረጅም ጊዜ ህልሟን አሳካች። በግራፊክስ ዲዛይነርነት ከ 10 አመት በላይ ልምድ ሲኖራት በዚህም ጊዜ ከአገር ውስጥ እና አለም አቀፍ ደንበኞ ጋር ሰርታለች። በአሁን ጊዜ በሰአሊነት ዘርፍ እየገባች ትገኛለች።

Meet our panelist

Tigist Nigussie is a self thought graphic designer and illustrator with an extensive experience in the sector.
After graduating with BSc in Electrical Engineering, she pursued her life long dream of being a graphic designer. She has worked as a freelancer for both local and international clients. Having been a graphic designer for more than a decade, she is now breaking into the field of illustration.

ፅጌ ሃይሌ የራስ አገዝ የሴቶች ድርጅት(ራሴድ) መስራችና ዳይሬከተር ነች። የራስ አገዝ የሴቶች ድርጅት(ራሴድ) ኢትዮጵያ ዉስጥ የሚሰራ ሀገር በቀል መንግስታዊ ያልሆነ ድርጅት ነው። ፅጌ ባችለር ድገሪዋን በ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የማስተርስ ድግሪዋን ደግሞ በኔዘርላንድ ተምራለች። ከ20 አመት በላይ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በአስተዳደር እና በማስተማር አሳልፋለች። ከዩኒቨርሲቲ አገልግሎቷ በኋላ በአክሽን ኤይድ ኢትዮጵያ በሰው ሀብት ግንባታ ዳይሬክተር በመሆን ለ 4 አመት አገልግላለች። በአክሽን ኤይድ ኢትዮጵያ

በመስራት ላይ እያለች ራስ አገዝ የሴቶች ድርጅት(ራሴድ) ለማቋቋም ወስና በድህነት ውስጥ ካሉ እናቶች እና ሴቶች ጋር ሰርታለች።
ይህ ጽጌ የምትመራዉ ድርጅት ከ100,000 በላይ በድህነት ውስጥ ያሉ ሴቶችን ህይወታቸውን እንዲያሻሽሉ ደግፏል ። በአሁኑ ሰአት ራስ አገዝ የሴቶች ድርጅት(ራሴድ) ሴቶችን በኢኮኖሚ በመደገፍ በአገሪቱ ቀዳሚዉ ድርጅት ነው።
ጽጌ በተለያዩ ድርጅቶች መምሪያ ቦርድ እና ኮሚቴዎች ውስጥ አገልግላለች። ከዚህ በተጨማሪ ሴቶችን በማብቃት እና ድህነት ቅነሳ ላይ ላበረከትችው አስተዋጽኦ በርካታ እውቅና አግኝታለች።

Meet our panelist

Tsigie Haile is the founder and director of the Organization for Women in Self Employment (WISE), a local non-governmental organization operating in Ethiopia. Tsigie had her BBA from Addis Ababa University and MBA from the Netherlands. She worked for over 20 years at the Addis Ababa University, both in the administrative and academic wings, before joining the development sector. After leaving the University, she joined ActionAid Ethiopia and served for four years in the capacity of Human Resource Development Manager. While working at ActionAid, she decided to set up WISE and work with poor women and girls.
The Organization Tsigie leads has served over 100,000 low-income women in support of their efforts to become empowered and improve the quality of their lives. WISE is currently a leading organization in women’s economic empowerment in the country.
Tsigie serves in many governing boards and committees of different organizations and has received a number of recognitions for her contribution to poverty reduction and women’s empowerment.
