𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗝𝗔 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗭𝗔𝗡𝗢

Borja Manzano, vigués afincado en Madrid, decide dar rienda suelta a su faceta más artística a través de la música electrónica, tras completar sus estudios superiores de sonido. Su estilo distintivo se caracteriza por una fusión audaz de géneros como el techno, el house y el acid. Durante más de dos décadas ha recorrido numerosos clubs a lo largo de la geografía española. Actualmente, desarrolla su labor como DJ y promotor en Madrid, donde forma parte del colectivo “La Casa Pangea”. Mantiene una residencia mensual en el club Cadavra, en la que da forma a sus inquietudes musicales compartiendo cabina con diferentes artistas internacionales en cada evento.

El 18 de octubre será el encargado de jugar una minuciosa selección musical en el espacio 𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 del 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗚𝗢 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

Borja Manzano, originally from Vigo but now based in Madrid, decided to give free rein to his artistic side through electronic music after completing his higher education in sound. His distinctive style is characterised by a bold fusion of genres such as techno, house and acid. For more than two decades, he has played at numerous clubs throughout Spain. He currently works as a DJ and promoter in Madrid, where he is part of the ‘La Casa Pangea’ collective. He has a monthly residency at the Cadavra club, where he gives shape to his musical interests by sharing the DJ booth with different international artists at each event.

On 18 October, he will be responsible for playing a carefully selected tracks at the 𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 space of the 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗚𝗢 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

Anxiety for Living es el seudónimo a través del cual Óscar ofrece su visión de la música electrónica, un proyecto que fluye por las diferentes vertientes del Techno a pesar de haber sido concebido en sus cimientos. La eterna búsqueda de la pureza ha dotado a su música de un valor intrínseco, alejándola de cualquier estereotipo. Salitre ha jugado un papel fundamental en su evolución artística, un liceo de conocimiento donde conformar su personalidad. En estos 7 años la experiencia adquirida toma forma para desarrollar sus directos, nutriéndose del EBM, Electro, IDM o Ambient como herramientas narrativas para hacer llegar su mensaje. En la actualidad su figura ejerce una posición de activista musical, siempre en movimiento, siempre agitando la escena gallega.

El 18 de octubre será el encargado de realizar el set de cierre en el espacio 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗘 del 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗚𝗢 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

Anxiety for Living is the pseudonym through which Óscar offers his vision of electronic music, a project that flows through the different aspects of Techno despite having been conceived at its foundations. The eternal search for purity has endowed his music with an intrinsic value, distancing it from any stereotype. Salitre has played a fundamental role in his artistic evolution, a lyceum of knowledge where he has shaped his personality. In these 7 years, the experience acquired takes shape to develop his live performances, nourished by EBM, Electro, IDM or Ambient as narrative tools to get his message across. He is currently a musical activist, always on the move, always stirring up the Galician scene.

On 18 October, he will be responsible for performing the closing set at the 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗘 space of the 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗚𝗢 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.
