LABA Valencia

La 3ª edición del . Festival de Arte Interactivo reunió este fin de semana a público, artistas y profesionales en .valencia y en la CC Nave 3 de Parc Central.

El festival ha sido la culminación de meses de investigación, experimentación y producción artística por parte de los estudiantes del Master internacional en creación multimedia para el espectáculo.

Para muchos de ellos, estas instalaciones han representado sus primeras obras interactivas de gran formato. A juzgar por la calidad de los proyectos presentados, también son el comienzo de apasionantes trayectorias creativas.

La exposición reunió obras de Asia Yakauleva, Andrea Carrara, Annabel Johnstone, José Castro, João Figueiras, Maryam De Vries, Frédéric Coquillon, Alberto Valletta, Erika Ivacson, Lingyi Zhang, Adriana Salame, Luis Ponce, Kitty S., Alexander Zaklynsky, Arwa Fayed, Emilio Ivars, Bianca Quigley, Michelle León y Matteo Trivoli. A través del light art, la escultura cinética, los entornos inmersivos, el arte sonoro y los sistemas interactivos, el público fue invitado a convertirse en participante de la obra.

En el corazón tanto del festival como del máster existe una convicción compartida: la tecnología no es un fin en sí mismo. La luz, el sonido, la imagen en movimiento, los sensores y la interacción son materiales artísticos capaces de generar poesía y experiencias emocionales.

El festival de este año también ha marcado la inauguración de los nuevos espacios de LABA Valencia, situados frente al edificio principal de la escuela.

Un agradecimiento especial al equipo docente del máster: Pablo Alpe, Ilgın Içözü, Diana Carmenate, Javier Mújica, Jana Tox y Theon Adam, quienes acompañaron cada proyecto hasta su instalación final.

The third edition of MICME, the Interactive Art Festival arrives with installations and events focused on interactive art: light art, video mapping, interactivity and sound art, created by students as their Final Major Projects of the master’s program. The festival highlights the role of multimedia, design, craft-making and technology as the core of the artistic experience, where poetics, innovation and experimentation converge.
