This first part of the year has been also about mobility and new experiences, with four of our Doctoral Candidates currently out on secondment—learning how they work in other institutions, collaborating, and bringing fresh perspectives back to their lab.

🔹 Claire DC7 is at International, contributing to patient engagement and gaining valuable insights into the patient perspective in retinal diseases.

🔹 Vaishnavi DC6 is hosted by Radboudumc, where she is advancing her research in a dynamic clinical and translational environment.

🔹 Maria Eduarda DC1 is at the of Tubingen for a 2 months collaboration, strengthening her expertise within a leading centre for vision research.

🔹 Chiara is at University of Colorado Anschutz since February, expanding her skills and fostering international collaboration opportunities.

👏 We can’t wait to see what comes out of these experiences… hoping for a few exciting joint publications 😉
