celebrated its centenary this year with the magazine’s most famous and iconic character being Eustace Tilley, a fictional monocled dandy who first appeared on the cover of the inaugural issue in 1925 and became the iconic symbol of the publication, adapting to the times but retaining its essence.
This dandy is an inspiration from the 1834 Count d’Orsay. 🧐
