d personal experiences led her to seeking out more “Root Cause” approaches to wellness. After years of struggling with digestive issues, Endometriosis, and a number of surgeries due to hormone imbalances with no preventative solutions or strategies from conventional medical approaches, she found true body healing through functional medicine and lifestyle changes. Kym happily shares her story and medical traumas in hopes that it will help others and she can be a resource for those seeking wellness. It brings me honor and joy to continually share my knowledge to guide and partner with others on their healing journey. A well-rounded approach to wellness focuses on hormone balance, gut restoration and microbiome health, body alignment, nervous system regulation, and energy flow. Yes, this includes physical labs and data, replacing deficiencies in the body, eliminating toxicities, etc. but I also invite clients to go beyond the labs and get in sync with truly listening to their body. When you tie all these components together, you will start to experience the beauty of health and wellness.”
In her free time Kym enjoys cooking, training and competing in triathlons, and reading. The rigorous demands of preparing for triathlon races as an athlete allow her to understand the importance of balance and well-being throughout whole body systems. She emphasizes and advocates for whole food nutrition, healthy hormone balance, quality supplementation when needed, restorative sleep, energy system flow, meditation and other forms of mindfulness and self-care. Kym looks forward to working with clients to optimize their health through specialization in hormone testing and balance and various other functional medicine, coaching, lifestyle and nutrition approaches.
