The club was set up in April 2007, we train every Tuesday from 7-9pm at Laude International School in San Pedro. The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity to keep fit in a fun environment, for past players to resume playing and for new players to learn about the game. Last weekend we hosted our annual Marbella Netball Club Summer Tournament, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! ☀️🏐

With 14 teams travelling from across Europe, 17 umpires, and an incredible team of volunteers behind the scenes, the day was packed with fantastic netball, great sportsmanship, and plenty of fun.

The standard of play was outstanding, with some truly impressive athleticism and fiercely contested matches throughout the day. It was a pleasure to watch so many talented players take to the court and to be part of such a friendly, welcoming community brought together by a shared love of netball.

The play-offs delivered plenty of excitement, including an El Clásico showdown between last year’s champions, Madrid and Barcelona, before the final saw Marcia’s Lionhearts take on Utrecht.

Congratulations to Marcia’s Lionhearts, who were crowned our 2026 champions with an 8–3 victory in the final! 🏆

A huge thank you to every team, umpire, coach, volunteer, supporter and sponsor who helped make the tournament such a success. The tournament simply wouldn’t be possible without the time, effort and enthusiasm that so many people contribute.

We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to do it all again next year!
