Imposter syndrome is a feeling of unworthiness or incompetence in spite of achieving accomplishments and success. This feeling is most common in the workplace, but it can manifest itself in just about any part of life. Those with imposter syndrome often go to great lengths to hide it, which can stunt their future success.

People who suffer from this syndrome often feel like frauds—in spite of being smart, skilled, capable professionals who actually deserve whatever commendations and praise they're given. Rather than celebrating their accomplishments, they worry that they've somehow tricked people into thinking they're good enough. As a result, they live in fear of being "found out" or "exposed."

Most of us have experienced feelings of doubt and unworthiness at some point in our lives. But when your accomplishments are a result of your own knowledge, hard work, and preparation and you still feel inadequate, you're probably suffering from impostor syndrome.

What Causes Imposter Syndrome?

Imposter syndrome is likely the result of multiple factors, including personality traits (such as perfectionism) and family background. One theory is that imposter syndrome is rooted in families that value achievement above all else.

Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It might cause you to sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat.

We are a society that is sleep walking in depression, anxiety, fear, and feelings of being unworthy and not good enough.

And most people believe that is just who they are. They don't understand or believe that life is supposed to be the adventure.

You see, the thing is, if we have made it to adulthood, most of us have suffered trauma. Trauma creates beliefs, and constant affirmation of the belief creates subconscious programming.

Which then takes away conscious thought 95% of the time in our day to day life.

You could have had the best childhood/life in the world. But if you feel like you're sleep walking in life, there will have been unresolved trauma in your life, creating those feelings and affecting your choices.

Trauma can be as simple as a teacher shouting at you at age 5.

The majority of us fully grown adults are actually operating like scared children, not wanting to experience pain or failure or rejection.

The meaning of the word “trauma,” in its Greek origin, is “wound.”
Whether we realize it or not, it is our woundedness, or how we cope with it, that dictates much of our behavior, shapes our social habits, and informs our ways of thinking about the world.

Trauma is not what happened in the outside world. Trauma is how our body and brain cope with what happened in the inside world. Our reactions, fears, and concerns all occur on the inside world, not the outside. The more I witness people’s trauma, the more I am certain that our internal systems expect a level of traumatization. As a result, we have built-in mechanisms to deal with our experiences. Trauma might show up as anxiety, depression, isolation, fear, pain (emotional and physical), shame, embarrassment, disordered eating, or alcohol abuse. The reality is, because trauma happens on the inside, not the outside, the chances are we are all living our lives with differing levels of trauma.

Belief Coding® enables you to get to the root cause of when the emotion/trauma first got trapped, it the allows you to safely, effectively, and quickly, heal that moment.

Working with clients to take them right back to the moment that created the chemical imbalance.

Meaning, we are literally working with the brain chemistry of the client at the root cause of the problem, changing the chemistry at a cellular level and removing the emotional charge associated with how the client is feeling.
