During lockdown, we wrote this song. It even includes the line “C’est dégueulasse” (“It’s disgusting”)—a reflection of how frustrated we were that we couldn’t have our usual Friday night gatherings.
But it turned into something bigger. It’s about feeling stuck, chasing dreams that don’t quite fit, scrolling through promises that never deliver, lining up for a future that feels uncertain. It’s about that “traffic jam inside your head,” the pressure, the disappointment — and the temptation to numb it all.
Still, it’s also about sticking together. Because even if youth feels confusing, messy, or unfair… we live it together. 🎶

"Being Me" is a quiet, honest song about identity without performance. It speaks to the space between labels and real life, where being gay isn't a costume, a cliché, or a constant celebration. It's about existing as a full human: complex, imperfect, soft, strong, sometimes tired, sometimes brave.

Since it is December 26, 2025, you are in the perfect ‘liminal space’ between Christmas and New Year’s Day to share this. This is the week when people are reflecting on the past and looking toward the future.

Most people know the classic ABBA’s ‘Happy New Year’ as a song about a post-party hangover and faded dreams. But this year, we wanted to breathe new life into that melody. 🥂✨

We’ve reimagined the lyrics to reflect where we are today – moving on from the ‘heavy, broken years’ and finding the courage to step into the light. It’s less about the ‘no more champagne’ and more about the ‘quiet after-change’.
