Enquanto eu trabalhava nestas imagens, cerca de 150 equipes de cientistas de todo o mundo estavam em seus laboratórios em busca de uma solução para esta pandemia cruel que já ceifou 720 mil vidas — nesta conta, mais de 100 mil são brasileiros. Ainda não há remédio comprovadamente eficaz contra a covid-19. E ainda não há vacina. As esperanças, portanto, para que o planeta volte a respirar livre, estão no desenvolvimento científico. Que venha logo esta vacina e ela seja um sopro de paz na Terra. While I was working on these images, about 150 teams of scientists from around the world were in their laboratories looking for a solution to this cruel pandemic that has already claimed 720 thousand lives - among them, more than 100 thousand are Brazilians. There is still no proven effective remedy against covid-19. And there is still no vaccine. The hopes, therefore, for the planet to breathe free again, lie in scientific development. May this vaccine come soon and it will be a breath of peace on Earth.
