On “Blurry Trip,” JGR, the project of Chilean producer Julián García Reyes, based in Madrid for several years, moves into a more acidic and determined territory, where each track pushes forward with a steady sense of momentum. “Blurry Night” and “Flaming Trip” unfold as two chapters of the same journey, an intense sonic progression where pulses grow, melodies tighten and the energy becomes increasingly defined. The EP comes together as a cohesive whole, each element aligning to project a sharper and more consistent sonic identity.

The release is completed by two remixes that broaden the EP’s scope: Thomass Jackson delivers a reinterpretation of “Blurry Night” that accentuates its darker and more enigmatic side, shaping a dense, subtly mind-altering atmosphere that carries the track into a new emotional space. Meanwhile, UK duo Close Proximity reimagine “Flaming Trip” with a more exploratory approach and a drive clearly rooted in trance and progressive, adding a thick, forceful sound that enhances the original’s
expansive character.

The Colombian producer releases an EP of remixes that come from a raw analog track with down pitched and resonated voices that interact alongside a playful and unpredictable arp bass-line and solid percussion elements,

resulting in a fresh and spooky new wave “minimal” disco flavor with bleep dry beats, ideal for warming up the dance floor.

The rhythm that borns of social isolation, the desire to break the rules with the existing alternatives, visions of the discotheque exploding after being shut down for a long time lapse, strident syntheses that converge with colored spotlights in the darkness and the uncertainty and relentless cyber future are mainly the sources of inspiration that came to Ravetop to give shape to this track.

brings a touch of Trance and “Proggry” vibes through the drops and bass line in his remix, followed by the powerful contribution from , who turn the essence of the original track into a peak time arpegiated Italo Body Music bomb perfect for the most rave-heads club warriors.

The release is complemented by “Le Poison Du Plaisir,” a track previously included on the “Rotten Citizens Vol. 6” compilation. A great chance to catch up for those who missed it!
