Yesterday, our colleague Paulina Jung, Global Head of M&A at Greening, participated in the panel “Market Focus: Unlocking Europe’s Next Wave of Solar + Storage Demand” at the 4th Solar Energy Storage Future Germany event.

A key discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges that will drive the growth of the solar + storage market in Europe, a strategic area for accelerating the energy transition and building a more sustainable, flexible, and resilient energy system.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 Á𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The alliance between Greening, Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc and Edison Next Spain is driving a new circular economy infrastructure in Ávila to transform agricultural and livestock waste into local renewable energy.

The Palacios de Goda project will generate biomethane capable of 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 8,000 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 through a model based on efficient waste valorization and the generation of dispatchable renewable energy.
