Catalan Assembly
The Catalan National Assembly (Assemblea Nacional Catalana) is a grassroots, non-partisan and civil society association working to defend the right to self-determination of the people Catalonia in a peaceful and democratic manner.
⬛️⬜️Professor Timothy Waters acknowledges that, even though we live in an interdependent world and nobody actually governs themselves, "it is valuable to have those tools of statehood sovereignty to negotiate in that world" in order to govern whatever you can.
⬛️⬜️🗣“The democratic crisis is colossal, and it demands revolutionary change. The Catalan democratic revolution is exactly that: it is transversal, interclassist and goes to the radical foundation of democracy.”
As explained by Vicent Partal at the International Symposium.
