Thus a famous archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann in his free time was dedicating himself to learning of foreign languages. It was his hobby and during his life he managed to learn about fifteen languages. Leo Tolstoy was also a hyperpolyglot. According to historical sources, the writer was fluent in more than fifteen languages. Other well-known personalities also knew several languages: Catherine II, Cleopatra, poet L. Ukrainka and others. But does there exist a maximum of languages an average person can learn? Studies show that no maximum number of languages exists. We are limited only by our own desires and a duration of human life. We can learn as many languages ​​as we want taking into consideration that we have enough time and effort for it. ⠀⠀

There is a story about one Italian (his descendants decided not to make his name public) who was fluent in seventy languages. At the same time, he never attended a school and did not learn languages ​​through textbooks. He traveled a lot, constantly changing professions, his life was full of events and adventures. ⠀⠀
