Some folks have been asking me what I took to Europe for my recently finished 3 week fast packing tour across Spain, France, and western Italy with .

I just put my saddle bag with toolkit in the frame bag and when we got to our home bases would just detach the rear and front packs and run the mini frame bag and saddle bag and still have big storage without the weight.

Overall I'm really happy with my setup this time around and would only change a few things. I'd really want to have a large waterproof dyneema front handlebar bag (my passport got soaked), a set of wool socks, and possibly a super light train bike bag.
