Hanging a picture well is not just an aesthetic choice: it is also a matter of proportion. These are the distances worth keeping in mind depending on the room or the piece of furniture beneath it:
· In a hallway: center of the picture at 145–150 cm from the floor
· Above a console: 10–20 cm
· Gallery walls: 8–10 cm between pictures
· Above the bed: 18–25 cm above the headboard
· Above the sofa: 15–20 cm above the backrest
Colgar un cuadro bien no es solo una cuestión estética: también es una cuestión de proporción. Estas son las distancias que conviene tener en cuenta según la estancia o el mueble que lo acompaña:
· En un pasillo: centro del cuadro a 145–150 cm del suelo
· Encima de una consola: 10–20 cm
