As Playground Records returns to Berlin for the first gathering of the season, we’re beyond excited to welcome Franz Scala as one of our special guests.
One of the key figures behind Berlin’s thriving Italo and cosmic underground, Franz is the founder of Slow Motion and the driving force behind Wrong Era. For years, he’s been shaping a sound where proto-house, psychedelic disco, acid and new wave blend into timeless dancefloor journeys. With an unmistakable musical identity and an uncompromising approach to digging and curation, he’s become a true reference point for dancers and selectors alike.
