This week, Technaid was pleased to participate in a training event dedicated to robotics and technologies for lower-limb training and assessment.

During our contribution, we addressed one of the key challenges in modern gait rehabilitation: data management. We shared our perspective on how structured, reliable and clinically meaningful data can support decision-making, improve follow-up and enhance the value of rehabilitation technologies in both research and practice. We also had the opportunity to demonstrate our motion capture system and discuss its applications in gait assessment and movement analysis.

We are grateful to the organizers for inviting us to contribute to such an enriching programme and for promoting a space where knowledge, innovation and clinical needs can come together. It was a real pleasure to take part.

Today, on International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we would like to take this opportunity to talk about the work published by a researcher who uses one of our exoskeletons: Paula Soriano-Segura, from José M. Azorín 's BMI Systems Lab Group. At UMH Universidad Miguel Hernández, her line of research combines brain-machine interfaces, deep learning, and exoskeletons to promote safe and reliable .

In their articles, Paula and her team use our lower limb exoskeleton Exo-H3 to study and exploit error-related potentials (ErrP), designing brain-machine interfaces capable of reducing false activations and better characterizing human-robot interaction through deep learning models. Their goal: to improve patient safety and the reliability of exoskeleton control during assisted walking, placing the quality of human-robot interaction at the center of the design of these systems.
