Who knew this would be so topical? I made these out of what was in mi maleta and my lack of acting ability. The camo. Used my crazy hair. My red lips. The sunglasses — my collection. I worked with what I had.
But here we are. A world at war. And I can't stop it. I can't stop the bombs. I can donate. I can vote. I can do all the things a person can do.
Yet I've changed my life to be happy. And that's what is to me.
Not ignorance. Not looking away. Just — come here for the exhale. Come here for the laugh. Come here to feel good for five minutes in a world that makes that hard.
I'm plenty-five and still alive annnnnd I'm intentional in how I spend my time living.
