Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 Rewrites the Rules on AAA Gaming on an iGPU With the Arc B390 built right in, Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 makes a discrete GPU optional for the first time.

Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake), announced at CES 2026 (2 Month ago), marks a major shift in laptop performance—especially for gaming without a dedicated GPU. Built on Intel’s new 18A process, it features a hybrid architecture (P-cores, E-cores, and LPE cores) and a powerful NPU for AI tasks.

The standout upgrade is the integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU (Xe3 architecture), which delivers up to 77% better performance than previous iGPUs and can even compete with entry-level discrete GPUs like the RTX 4050.
