The Arabic word for editing is "تحرير - Tahrir" that means also, beside editing, liberating or setting free.
Every manuscript written by an author is held captivated by mistakes, extra text, and ambiguity, and it needs to be set free from those prisoners

Ain Shams Engineering Journal The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.

The number of published papers in "Ain Shams Engineering Journal" and the percentage of Egyptian vs Foreign Participation. It shows that the journal is gaining an international flavor, now the published papers from Egypt drops from 73% in 2011 to 28% in 2014
