Elsewedy Industrial Development signs an industrial land agreement with New Hope Egypt to establish a new feed manufacturing plant at Industria Asher in 10th of Ramadan City.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, President & CEO of Elsewedy Electric, and Mr. Shao Wen, Regional Director of New Hope Group in the Middle East, and in the presence of leaders from both companies.

The new facility will produce poultry and aquaculture feed with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons, supporting the continued growth of Egypt’s animal feed and food production sectors.

Mr. Shao Wen expressed his appreciation for the partnership with Elsewedy Industrial Development and the support provided to expand the company’s investments in Egypt, noting that the new plant will utilize advanced technologies and represent a significant addition to the industrial ecosystem at Industria Asher.

The new facility at Industria Asher will be New Hope’s fifth plant in Egypt, built on an area of 34,000 sqm, with 50,000 tons annually allocated for export, further strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional production and export hub for food industries.

The project is also expected to create 500 direct jobs and around 10,000 indirect job opportunities across supply chains and related services.
