في آخر أيام عروض الجزء الأول من «إيه العمل في الوقت دا يا صديق؟»، نعرض لكم فيلم دوجلاس سيرك الكلاسيكي «كل ما تسمح به السماء»، أحد أهم أفلام الميلودراما الأمريكية، والذي نرى بعض أصدائه في سينما شاهين، خاصة في تعامله مع الرغبة والعاطفة والطبقة الاجتماعية.

يعقب العرض نقاش مع المخرجة آيتن أمين والكاتب والسيناريست محمد الحاج.

آيتن أمين مخرجة مصرية عُرضت أفلامها في أبرز المهرجانات العالمية، منها كان وبرلين وترايبيكا. بدأت مسيرتها بالأفلام القصيرة قبل أن تقدم فيلمها الروائي الأول «فيلا ٦٩» (٢٠١٣)، ثم «سعاد» (٢٠٢٠)، لتصبح أول مخرجة مصرية يُعرض لها فيلم رسميًا في مهرجاني كان وبرلين. كما أخرجت مسلسل «سابع جار»، وشاركت في لجنة تحكيم جائزة العمل الأول بمهرجان برلين السينمائي عام ٢٠٢٣.

محمد الحاج كاتب ومحرر ومترجم مقيم في القاهرة. بدأ مسيرته المهنية بكتابة الفيلم الروائي الطويل «فيلا ٦٩» (٢٠١٣) قبل أن يتجه للكتابة الأدبية والتليفزيونية. تضم أعماله الأدبية المنشورة مجموعتين قصصيتين هما: «لا أحد يرثي لقطط المدينة» (٢٠١٨)، و«عن الرجولة: قصتان وكتاب تلوين للذكور البالغين» (٢٠٢٢)، أما للتليفزيون فقد أشرف على كتابة مسلسل «النزوة» (٢٠٢٢).

Join us for a screening for a landmark of American melodrama, Douglas Sirk’s All That Heaven Allows. Traces of the film’s visual and emotional language can be found in Youssef Chahine’s cinema, particularly in his treatment of desire, image, and class.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Ayten Amin and writer-screenwriter Muhammad El-Hajj.

آخر فرصة لمشاهدة فيلم «ابن النيل»، أحد وائل أفلام شاهين التي تكشف عن رؤية فنية خاصة للميلودراما وللوسيط السينمائي.

لـ«ابن النيل» أهمية خاصة باعتباره أول فيلم مصري يتم تصويره خارج الستوديو وخارج القاهرة (تحديدًا في ريف قنا بالصعيد)، كما أنه أول فيلم لشاهين يشارك في مهرجان سينمائي دولي، حيث عرض في مهرجاني كان وفينيسيا. يعد الفيلم أيضًا أحد أول أعمال السينما المصرية التي حملت موسيقى تصويرية ذات طابع مميز خارج الأطر المألوفة حينها، صممها المؤلف الموسيقي الرائد فؤاد الظاهري، والذي تعاون مع شاهين مجددًا في عدد من أهم أفلامه اللاحقة.

One last chance to see Son of the Nile, one of the earliest examples of Chahine’s singular approach to melodrama and cinematic form.

The film holds a special place in Egyptian cinema history as the first feature to be shot outside the studio and beyond Cairo, filmed in the rural landscapes of Qena in Upper Egypt. It was also Chahine’s first film to screen at an international festival, with selections at both Cannes and Venice.

Son of the Nile is equally notable for its groundbreaking score by pioneering composer Fouad El-Zahery, whose unconventional approach to film music marked a departure from the dominant styles of the period. El-Zahery would later go on to collaborate with Chahine on several of his most celebrated works.

Marwan Moussa premieres his new track “Wathaeqy” (وثائقي) in a special cinematic experience presented on the big screen for the first time.

The screening consists of three parts:

1. “Al Wathaeqy” documentary
2. The premiere of the “Wathaeqy” music video
3. Behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the video clip
